but tonight was the last day of their newscast.

2004 When Ate Bernadette was part of TV Patrol Weekend replacing Ces Drilon. Bago iyun, naging pinch-hint siya habang wala si Ces.Naalala ko pa nang nagkaruon ng Ultra Stampede last February 2006.

2006 nang mapalitan ni Alex Santos si Henry Omaga - Diaz sa TV Patrol Weekend kung saan naging original main anchor na ito sa Bandila na nailunsad din sa nasabing taon kasama sina Korina Sanchez na ngayon ay main anchor na ng TV Patrol tuwing gabi. At si Ces Drilon na naiwan naman bilang orihinal sa Bandila.

Ginanap kanina ang awards night ng 20th KBP Golden Dove Awards 2011 sa Star Theater sa Star City, Roxas Boulevard, Manila para parangalan ang mga natatanging programa sa radyo at telebisyon. Tampok din sa gabi ng parangal si Kabayan Noli De Castro na ginawaran ng Ka Doroy Broadcaster of the Year Award. Sa kanyang speech, matagal na niyang gustong mahuli ang ibong ito at nasungkit na din niya ito sa wakas makalipas ang dalawang dekada bilang isang mamamahayag. Isa siya sa naging tinig ng DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 nung 1986 at sumikat ang kanyang pangalan bilang isang news anchor ng TV Patrol.

Humakot din ng parangal ang ilang programa sa DZMM Radyo patrol 630, Tambayan 101.9 at ABS-CBN. Iginawad sa Kapamilya Network ang Best TV Station habang ang DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 naman ang nag-uwi ng Best Am Radio Station sa Metro Manila Division. "I'm not yet pregnant" - ito ang kumpirma ng veteran female news anchor na si Korina Sanchez.

Kumalat ang balitang nagdadalantao na ang respetadong news anchor nang tanungin ni Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson ang asawa nito na si DOTC Secretary Mar Roxas sa Senado.

Pero hindi man nangyari iyun. Nais na rin ni Korina na magkaruon ng baby kundi ngayong taon ay sa susunod na taon pa.

Magdadalawang-taon na mag-asawa sina Korina at Mar sa October 27. Ikinasal sila nuong 2009 sa Sto. Domingo Church.

The original Radyo Patroller was passed away Monday morning due to cardiac arrest and multiple organ failure.

Vic Jose or VJ starting his career in broadcasting in 1964. He is Economist but on his heart, he knew that he need to become a broadcaster.

VJ was the anchor of Pintig Balita on DZMM every Sunday 1AM-2AM before he died.

Thank you very much, Sir VJ. You remembrance always in our heart and mind.

Veteran broadcast journalist Ted Failon finally found lost Elisa Altamira.

Admitted to be a fan of ABS-CBN’s top-rating teleserye “Nasaan Ka Elisa?,’ Ted felt really happy when Elisa, actress Melissa Ricks in real life, visited him in his radio program on DZMM . The actress said it’s a big honor to be a subject of Ted’s daily commentaries. Meanwhile, Elisa’s father (Albert Martinez), also took the chance of personally thanking the news anchor on his radio program. He even gave Ted his signature sunglasses.

As we all know, she started working in ABS-CBN Baguio (Correct me if I'm wrong) and she had been reporting some of the stories from morning 'til midnight. She also became one of the youngest police reporter so far. She got what it takes to become a professional journalist of this generation.

Karen, Anthony, and Pochoy Reform Derailed Teenagers in ‘Ako ang Simula’

More and more youth today seem to be losing their ways just like teenagers in Barangay San Dionisio in Paranaque where they engage themselves in drugs, pre-marital sex, and even child exploitation.

There are more than 68,000 residents in the area but only one driven and committed woman is taking that bold step to change the way things go in her community—Patroller ng Pagbabago Doctor Dolores.

Not only is she a dedicated doctor in the community, she is also a mother to the members of Batang Laging Umiiwas sa Tiyak na Impeksyon or BALUTI, a youth-oriented group promoting youth welfare in their area.

Dolores and BALUTI have no other dream but to correct the ways of these young minds. But Dolores can only do so much given her resources and even BALUTI is facing problems of being shut down due to lack of funds.

Pinky Webb joins 'Mornings@ANC'

MANILA, Philippines - After taking a short break, broadcast journalist Pinky Webb is back on air via "Mornings@ANC," the morning show of the ABS-CBN News Channel.

"Thank you. I'm really happy to be back. I was excited, I had six hours of sleep. So I was so early," Webb told her co-hosts Paolo Abrera and Ron Cruz.

Webb, who used to anchor "Dateline Philippines," officially joined "Mornings@ANC" on Monday as she switched places with veteran broadcast journalist Gigi Grande.

Grande joined TJ Manotoc on "Dateline Philippines," which is ANC's longest running newscast.
Webb took a few months' break after leaving the ABS-CBN's early morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" and radio dzMM program "Tambalang Failon at Webb."

In a recent interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Webb said that aside from "Mornings@ANC," she will start her reporting job on ABS-CBN's flagship newscast "TV Patrol."

Currently, Webb is also part of "XXX," ABS-CBN's investigative news and crime show.

Pia Hontiveros gave birth to her baby boy

ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) anchor and "Strictly Politics" host Pia Hontiveros gave birth to her baby boy named Zio early this morning. Baby Zio was born around 12:15 A.M., Pia gave birth to a healthy baby boy which is the youngest among her children. She is married to R’win Pagkalinawan, a superintendent of the Philippine National Police.

Pia and her whole family said thanks to all of her Twitter followers and her colleagues in ABS-CBN for the prayers and support. Last time, her condition was very crucial because of her pregnancy might be at risk and she needed to leave her job to monitor the condition of her precious baby boy.

Pinky Webb returns To Morning Show but not in UKG

Distinguished broadcast journalist Pinky Webb is set to join the morning news and talk program “Mornings@ANC,” which reports on local and international news, technology, sports, health, trends, and entertainment – every piece of information Filipinos need to jumpstart their day.

With her experience as a news anchor and radio commentator, Webb wants to add more interviews and meticulous discussions on current events to the jam-packed two-hour program, with co-anchors Ron Cruz, Ginger Conejero, and Paolo Abrera.

“We want to make sure, as ANC has always been the leader of making news 24/7, that in ‘Mornings@ANC,’ we will be able to deliver the most recent stories the viewers want to know, hear, and find out… so they can trust us to be the first ones to deliver the news to them,” Webb expressed.

Three Kapamilya Newsmen have chosen The Top 10 Cutest Newsmen 2011 Edition.

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN News Channel's (ANC) Warren de Guzman is one of the cutest television newsmen in the country, according to the 2011 list made by website Spot.ph.

De Guzman, an executive producer and newscaster at ANC, landed on the 8th spot of the website’s "Top 10 Cutest TV Newsmen: 2011 Edition."

To prove how sought after de Guzman was, his short description on the site pointed out how frustrating it is to see less of him on television.

Magbabalik telebisyon na ang News and Current Affairs program na Pipol ni Ces Drilon sa ABSCBN News Channel oa ANC alas 9:30 ng gabi.

Matagal rin namayagpag ang Pipol ni Ces Drilon sa telebisyon kung saan sinasalamin ang buhay ng isang tao o personalidad.

Masaya naman si Ces sa pagbabalik ng kanyang original current affairs program. Ipapalabas niya ang mga kuwentong hindi pa niya naitatampok  sa naunang Pipol sa ABSCBN.

Pipol premieres October 10 on ANC.

Sa exclusive interview ni Ahwell Paz sa programang MISMO ng DZMM, kinamusta nito si Pinky, Blooming na blooming ang female news anchor. 

Nagigising na siya ng "late" at natutulog na rin siya ng "late" ayun kay Pinky.

Magbabalik na siya sa ANC kung saan siya nagsimula bilang newscaster.

Makakasama na siya sa Mornings @ ANC kung saan makakasama nito ang dating kasamahan sa Umagang Kay Ganda na si Ginger Conejero at Ron Cruz simula na sa Lunes, October 10. 

Sinagot din niya kung makakabalik pa ba siya sa Umagang Kay Ganda at Tambalang Failon at Webb sa DZMM.

Ayun kay Pinky, maaari din naman siya bumalik sa radyo depende kung anuman ang magiging desisyon ni Ka Peter Musngi. Radio Head ng DZMM. Pero magiging kumplikado ito sa kanyang schedule sa ANC.

She promise that she will be back on Umagang Kay Ganda as pinch hint to those anchors are absent.

According to Miss GR Rodis (ShowbizManila in Twitter), Korina Sanchez will come back on DZMM starting September 19.

Timeslot will be at 9:45am, Monday to Friday.

But not yet confirm whether she can return to her former show, "Tambalang Failon at Sanchez" with his partner, Ted Failon

Or maybe she will have a new radio program?

On the other hand, Korina Sanchez-Roxas hailed as Outstanding Alumni at Miriam College's Grand Alumni Homecoming.
